  Hi

  As the title say, I’m revisiting my blog and all the admin options are different.

  What I want to do to start with is remove the menu options at the top of the page. I’ve deleted my menus, but they are still there.

  How do I get rid of them?

  Hi Tony,

  The menu you’re seeing at the top of the page is your theme’s default menu.

  Most themes will automatically generate a menu linking to all published pages on your site. If you don’t want any menu at all to appear, you need to create a new, blank custom menu, and set that as the primary menu on the site instead.

  I have deleted all menus and these links still exist. I have created a blank menu and they disappear. If I delete the blank menu they come back. The only solution that does work is to delete the pages

  I give a little background: this was originally a self-hosted WordPress site that I imported into WordPress.com. I’m not sure if this is having an effect.

  Hi there,

  You don’t need to delete the blank menu. Just leave it there. That’s the only way to completely hide that menu.
