Keep getting "phone nr not valid" trying to activate 2FA or SMS Account Recovery

  When trying to activate the Two-Step Authentication it keeps saying “That phone number does not appear to be valid”, also cannot add my phone nr for Account Recovery backup, same thing, says the phone nr is not valid — there is absolutely nothing wrong with the phone number though! It’s a Thailand phone nr. Never had any issue with any other service using 2FA. Something wrong with your system.

  There is a known issue with Thailand phone number validation for two step authentication and it’s something our developers are working on. I’ve sent an email to the address on your Account Settings page and will follow up with you there for more information.

  Please let me know if that doesn’t come through.
