  Hello, Wie und wo kann ich mein Profil und Konto vollständig löschen?
  How and where can I completely delete my profile and account?
  Please delete my account.

  Usernames can only be deactivated — this prevents others from taking the username and impersonating you.

  You can empty and delete your sites, and remove all data but the email address, then block all emails here:
  https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/subscriptions

  You could also remove the email address by switching to a throwaway address (effectively deleting you from the account). We can help with that if needed. Just note we would not be able to help you regain access to that username.

  Hello Supernovia,
  I also would like to delete my account. Since I understood that this is not possible (which I find extremely unsatisfactory – even if it is meant to protect the users from being copied or the like), I would like to “freeze” my account and delete all settings, contents, followers and the like. Speaking frankly, for me wordpress is very confusing. Therefore I would highly appreciate if you could support me, if possible. Many thanks in advance for your reply and support. Best, X

  No problem, @xabcdefx. Remove all of your data first. That’s mostly here:
  https://wordpress.com/me/account

  Go to https://gravatar.com and delete your image there, too, as well as any other data you’ve added. Once you’ve authorized the connection, you can delete all gravatar images here by clicking the X by each one.
  https://secure.gravatar.com/emails/

  Do note that takes a while to clear from all of our servers, but it will happen.

  When you’ve done that, you can change your password and us a throw-away address, or we can do it for you.

  Again, the username will never be available again, even if you rename it to something else before locking yourself out, so please be sure you are positive you want to do this. I’ll know you’ve made your decision when I see your other profile data deleted.
