Landing Page?

    Hello, I would like to create a wordpress.com site with a static home page that has 2 links that lead to 2 essentially separate sites. I *think* it’s called a landing page. In other words, I want to create a real estate site, when the visitor reaches the home page, they see 2 links: residential and commercial (maybe with pics and a short description of each link). And then they can click either one and be taken EITHER to a residential site OR a commercial site.

    My question: is there a template (free or willing to purchase) I can use in wordpress.com (I really don’t want to go the wordpress.org route) or can you point me in the direction of finding one (and tell me what this is called so I know what to search under)? Many thanks!!

    Hi there,

    You can create a static home page with any WordPress.com theme with this guide: Front Page

    You can use that as a landing page either to direct visitors to other individual pages on the same WordPress.com site or to send them to completely separate WordPress.com sites. If you’d like the residential and commercial sites to look different, you’ll need to set up separate WordPress.com sites so you can put a different theme on each one.
