Hi there, if you have purchased a domain through WordPress.com and you don’t wish to renew it, you can cancel it in your Manage Purchases dashboard. Here’s our support guide that explains the process of canceling a domain

Hi,
I have noticed that the amount is still in blocked status. Is it maybe because I have erased my card from the site ? Or maybe I should just contact my bank?

Hi Irina,
It can take up to ten business days for your bank to show the refund on your account or to remove the hold on the amount on your card. We don’t have any control over that, so please follow up with your bank directly on that.
But deleting your card details from our system does not prevent the refund – our payment processor does keep a record on their end for legal and accounting purposes for a certain period of time, and they handle the actual refund.
