late renewal, now having trouble

  HI there. I just paid my renewal charge $13 for ascottbirthdoula.com. The renewal is showing, but the ‘subscription status’ is showing Expired. The comment ‘Domain not pointing to WordPress.com’ is in bold red letters. I was directed to a page that reads
  ‘Update your domain’s name servers
  Using the DNS tools provided by your domain registrar, remove any existing name servers and add the following:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM’

  But, I don’t know what I’m doing. I’d like for my site to be working again.

  Hi there,

  Sorry for the confusion. Your domain ascottbirthdoula.com actually expired on January 20, 2015. Since the expired domain was still linked to your site in our system, your $13 payment didn’t actually renew the domain (since it was already completely expired and needs to be re-registered as a new domain now).

  I just removed the expired domain from your site and added $13 in credit to your account. You can now re-register that domain from the Domains page, and the $13 credit will be applied when you get to the checkout page.
