latest post doesn't show up in blog, oldest post does

  I did a new post and when i select ‘blog’ on the menu the oldest post shows up. if I delete that post I get ‘this is embarrassing.’ How do I get the newest post to show up when ‘Blog’ is selected from the menu bar?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Your front page is set as your blog or posts page. The menu item “Blog” is linked to a single post. If you delete that post, then “Blog” is linked to nothing. If you would like the “Blog” menu item to link to a page that displays your posts, then you’ll have to set a static front page, because on a WordPress.com site there is only one blog page allowed.

  For the “Blog” menu item to open your latest posts (full instructions):

  1. Create a new page. You may title it “Blog,” but you may name it anything.
  2. Assign a page as the static front page at Customize > Static Front Page > Front page displays, choosing the page from the first drop-down menu.
  3. Assign the “Blog” page as your posts page by choosing it from the second drop-down menu, labeled “Posts page,” at Customize > Static Front Page > Front page displays > A static page.
  4. Click Save & Publish
  5. Change the link URL of the “Blog” menu item to the URL of the new Blog page.
