Launched Blog looks horrific HELP

    I, evidently, am not capable of using your user friendly site. I was under the impression that I had a ‘launch ready’ site but when I had a relative go to my site they found it full of extraneous written material. I tried the forums and online help for dummies but to no avail – I am clueless when it comes to terms and how to use them.

    Hi there,

    I noticed when I visit your site that your homepage has a lot of extra blocks, though it is not clear to me how they all go there. However I can see they have been added within the page editor here: https://wordpress.com/page/thistleinagarden.wordpress.com/6

    Looking at your revision history for that page, it seems that you might have been copying and pasting content from some other location or site? Is that possibly the case?

    If you want to delete the extra blocks you have on your homepage you can do that by clicking on the “…” icon in the toolbar that appears above a block if you are editing it. Watch the video at this link to see what I mean: https://d.pr/v/qyEH1z

    Also in my video, you can see that if I click and drag my cursor I can select multiple blocks and delete them as a group, which can be faster if you have a lot of blocks you would like to remove from the homepage layout.
