Launching a .com site

    Hi All,

    I have a blog on he free version of WordPress but would like to launch a stand alone .com version of it. I own the domain name (via godaddy) but am not sure where to start in terms of launching my site and migrating my content over to it. Any advice is appreciated.

    Hi there, we have this guide that explains the procedure for moving your site from WordPress.com to your own self-hosted WordPress site on another hosting service.

    Since your domain is at Godaddy, it could be convenient to move your site there, so you may want to chat with them about that, or with whatever hosting service you decide to go with.
