Leave you comment option missing in The Piano Black Theme.

  Hi Team,

  I just launched free blog using The Piano Black Theme. The option to enable the comment box is not working.

  I have checked the option -> Allow people to post comments on new articles (In Settings->discussions )

  Still the comment box is not appearing. Please help

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Changing that setting does not allow comments on already published pages. It only affects new post made after changing the setting.

  In order to allow comments on an already published piece, you will need to edit that post and scroll down to check the “allow comments” checkbox.

  Let me know if you have any trouble.

  Thanks rootjosh. It works for posts.

  I was wondering if this option supports for pages?

  And is there any option to turn off “Published dates for post “?

  My apologies, I may have miss-typed in my previous reply.

  Comments on pages need to be turned on individually. There is no global setting to allow pages to always have comments enabled. The setting I mentioned in my previous post applies to posts only, as you noted.

  And is there any option to turn off “Published dates for post “?

  You would need the custom design upgrade that is part of WordPress.com Premium in order to do that.
