  Hi Barb and welcome to wordpress.com. This is the main link to support documentation http://en.support.com and on that page Staff have provided links to common questions and the answers to them. See this as well > http://en.support.wordpress.com/introduction/ And there’s also a searchbox. you can use.

  There aren’t tutorials for beginner’s provided by wordpress.com. However, I’m a blogging tips blogger and if you click my username you will find that I do have links to beginner tutorials on my Popular Posts page.
