Let my website expire – can wordpress recover the content?
-
I let my domain name of my website expire. I think I lost all of the content! My host, Bluehost, says the data is gone. But since I made it through WordPress, would it be available on WordPress anywhere?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You used the open source WordPress software to make your site, but that software was installed on Bluehost’s servers, along with all the files that make up the content of your site.
We are a hosting provider like Bluehost, and no data related to your site has ever been stored on our servers, so we don’t have any ability to help you recover that data. If Bluehost no longer has a copy on their servers, and you didn’t keep your own backups, there’s no way to get it back.
The only option that might work is to see if there’s a cached copy of your site in the Wayback Machine, then you might be able to copy at least some of your old content from there:
