I can see the Like button fine on the one post you’ve published so far, https://teeboymusic.wordpress.com/2020/04/18/the-strife-is-over-mp4/, so your posts can be liked by anyone logged into a WordPress.com username account.
You can control whether or nor you receive email notifications of new comments from the discussion settings at My Site ->Manage ->Settings ->Discussion:

Are you referring to buying an upgrade plan?
The only immediate change that will happen on your site is that the ads we show will disappear. Beyond that, upgrading only makes additional features available, but nothing will actually change on your site unless you start using those features. Which features you’ll have available will depend on which plan you choose.
The only “automatic” way to earn income on WordPress.com is by joining our ads program, WordAds. To join WordAds your site needs a custom domain, and you also need a minimum amount of traffic to your site. The traffic requirement can be bypassed by upgrading to our Premium Plan or higher, but you’ll still need to be getting thousands of visits a month to your site to make any meaningful income from online ads.
