  is there a limited amount of blogs you can post on the free subscription?

  The site I need help with is asorensen.wordpress.com.

  There is no limit to how many free blogs you can have under one account and how many posts those free blogs can have. :)

  So what might cause a blog post to not be visible or show up when searched for?

  If a site were set to private or “coming soon” mode they would not be visible to the public or to search engines.

  You are having an issue with one of your sites showing up in search results? I see that one of your sites is set to be “private” at the moment, but you can make it public by following the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/#privacy-options
