Limiting number of posts on the front page
-
Hi,
I was just wondering how to limit the number of posts on the front page rather than having an endless scroll of posts. I’m on the twenty-ten theme. Any thoughts welcome! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
In the dashboard (classic) admin panel, go to Settings > Reading, choose the desired number at “Blog pages show at most,” then scroll down to the “Save Changes” button and click on it.

Hi there – thanks for your response.
My settings button only lists:
General / Writing / Discussion / Analytics / SEO / Import / ExportPerhaps I’m not on the classic admin panel? Is there a way to go to “classic”?
Many thanks!

Is there a way to go to “classic”?
Append “wp-admin/index.php” to the end of your site URL, to get https://goldenageofcinemasite.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php.
Your Reading Settings page would be https://goldenageofcinemasite/wp-admin/options-reading.php.
There’s probably another way to change the number at My Sites, but I don’t know about that. I’ve given you the old-fashioned way that I’ve been using for about 8 years.

You can create a bookmark to link to https://goldenageofcinemasite.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php, or to any other page, administrative or not, on the site.

Thanks very much for your help! That seems to work well.
Take care out here,
cheers
