  despite only commanding a line through one of my words, my entire blogg has now been crossed through. what do i do? just gotten 200 hits so don’t want to put punters off

  You probably have an unclosed HTML tag somewhere.

  Go to Settings > Writing and check the box titled “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”. Save changes.

  Then, open the post referenced above with the visual editor, make one minor change such as adding a space and then deleting it, and then click “Update Post.” Check your blog and see if it is back to normal.
