Link a page to a text widget

  Good morning. I created a text widget to link to one of my pages. I copied the URL from right clicking the page title. Still it only shows the link on the widget. Can you help?

  I’m not seeing any text widget at the moment that fits a “link not working” description. Did you delete it, or were you able to sort it out?

  Thanks. I got help from a happy engineer who fixed it. But if you could explain how I can do myself that would be great.
  I would like to have a ‘template’ to link a page to sentence on a text widget making sure it is not the link itself which shows there. Thank you!

  What is the existing widget that you would like to be able to copy? The one that the other Happiness Engineer was able to fix?

  Yes…as am working with a test blog and want to repeat the process.

  So if you let me see what the goal is (an existing widget somewhere, perhaps the one that the other Happiness Engineer fixed), I can walk you through the process of being able to reproduce it next time.
