link difficulties

  I am trying to add a link to a media image or text and it is not allowing me to do so. The only way it is working is by having the text on the post and link the same. For example I cannot add a hyperlink to an uploaded image. It is also not allowing me to add a hyper link to text that says ‘click here’. I have done these things in the passed, it is not allowing me to now.
