Link in Widget does not work – must be error in theme?

    I added a link to a image widget in my new blog, josephldixon.com, but when I click on the image the view doesn’t go to the new window but ends up at a white screen. I was wondering whether the theme is bad. I’m using the misty lake theme. I’m probably going to switch themes but I already spent hours on this so I want to know if it is me or the theme. I’ve emptied the caches already.

    Also I would love the old dashboard permanently turned on again. Thank you very much.

    Hi Joe,

    The problem here isn’t caused by WordPress.com — it’s actually a problem with how you’re displaying the content of your site at your domain josephldixon.com. You’re displaying your whole WordPress.com site in an iframe at your domain, which will make some things (like those links) not work correctly.

    For everything to work as expected, you’ll need to map your domain to WordPress.com using the steps in our guide to Map an Existing Domain. That way, those links will work without any issues. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
