Link to non-WordPress page on WordPress site

  I have a site, say abcdef.com which is running WordPress. I can go directly to menu pages using abcdef.com/home for example.
  What I would like to do is to be able to open an html page

  which is not part of WordPress

  by typing abcdef.com/other.html.
  Is there any way to do this?
  If I try to do this now, it simply opens the WordPress home page.

  There are no sites owned by the account you are currently logged in to. What is the URL of the site you are working on?

  This was an example. The actual site is hayletowncouncil.net and I would like to be able to directly access a page at hayletowncouncil.net/bp53.htm which is not a WordPress page.

  Hi jbennett48,

  hayletowncouncil.net is a self hosted WordPress.org site rather than a WordPress.com site. There is some information about the differences between the two in this guide:

  WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

  We are only able to help with WordPress.com sites hosted on our own servers (hayletowncouncil.net is hosted by 1&1). However, support for WordPress.org sites is available on these forums:

  https://wordpress.org/support/

  I noticed the site was built by a company called Blumin so you may want to contact them for help — there is a link to their website at the bottom of the page.
