Linking Owned GoDaddy URL with WP Site
-
Hello,
I just built a free WordPress.com site and currently own a URL through GoDaddy. I would like the GoDaddy URL to be the main one for the site, meaning that when one types it in, it directs them to the website I built and displays that URL in the address bar.I am currently a bit confused as to whether I will need to purchase a WP subscription to do this or whether there is a free way to do it. Also, when I do this, will the page extensions automatically update (like, will the page links automatically become xyz.org/about, xyz.org/contact, and so on)?
Thank you!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Actually the site I need help with is https://michiganmunicipal.wordpress.com/. I must have chosen the incorrect link when submitting this post.

If you purchase an upgraded plan then you can map or transfer your domain to the WordPress.com site.
