Linking to another website and adding a logo
-
Hello,
1. I would like to know how I can link a colleagues professional website to my own. I did go to the links section on my website, and I added the website and the image URL. However, nothing seems to show up on my actual website.
2. I am interested in adding a logo to my website. Do you know how this would be done? Thank you!
Sincerely,

Hi there,
1. How did you add the link to the sidebar? Did you use the Links Widget or an Image Widget? The link you want to add won’t show up on your site’s homepage because it is using a full-width page template. It should show up on any other page that uses a sidebar. Let us know how that goes.2. Yoko, the theme you are using on benjaminmeyerlcsw.com is a long-retired theme. If it is possible to add a logo in the header area, you’ll see that option in your site’s Customizer>Site Identity>Logo. If it is not possible, you could still add a logo in your site’s sidebar with an Image widget.
Hope that helps.

Dear justjennifer,
Thank you for your ideas. I originally used the Links Widget under dashboard. In terms of using it on a webpage that uses a sidebar, would that mean that it would go under the sidebar where my articles are published? I ask because I would prefer that it is separate form my articles. Should I add a new page to include links, for example? Thank you!
Sincerely,

Hello again, you can fine-grain the position of the Links Widget (or any widget) or even its appearance on certain pages by using the widget’s Visibility settings https://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/05/28/widget-visibility/
As you mention, you can create an entirely separate page for Links and add it to your site’s navigation menu.
Hope that helps.
