Linking to the homepage

    It is impossible to link a image displayed on my index template link to the homepage. I can link to posts, other pages and even media. But in the index template, linking to the homepage is impossible.

    If I link to xxx.wordpress.com, the image takes you to xxx.wordpress.com/xxx.wordpress.com/.

    I cannot use /index or /home or anything. This might be a rookie mistake. I hope I can get this resolved.
