I purchased the ladder template and have been making my website. I would like to do two things. How do I install an embedded link? For example if I type please view our galleries.. how do I make galleries a link to open the galleries page. And how on the home page can i put links to the gallery pages?

Your thankyou for the information about links. It was very helpful. It’s all about knowing where to look. I chatted live with another help person about menus. It’s just not clicking, I followed his directions and have created a menu. At least I think I have. I just want a menu on my home page and I cannot get it to show up. I have no idea where I am going wrong. -
Ah! You did a great job creating your menu. You’ve just got one last step – setting the menu to appear on your site. You can do this most easily through the Customizer. Move to the “Menus” pane and select your custom menu from the drop down and save your changes.
There are two other place you can make this change, both through the dashboard at Appearance > Menus. If you select “Manage Locations” at the top, you’ll have the same drop down as in the Customizer. Or, at the very bottom of the menu editor there are a few checkboxes. The “Theme Locations” checkbox will also set this location.
