Links do not display in blog

When I check my blog on IE, Chrome, and Firefox, links within a table do not appear, except when the cursor hovers over the links. How do I fix this? I recently changed to the Chateau theme.

I took a look at your blog, and I see a table on the front page there. It looks like you tried to add a link to the text in your table, but there wasn’t any linked text included inside the HTML link tags.
You can add a link to any of your posts or pages (including inside tables) by following the instructions on this page: Links

Apparently I need to add a color tag and underline to each link text between the brackets. This is too much work to make the text appear on screens. Now I need to update at least 30 blogs that contain links.

You shouldn’t need to add that code to make the text appear. Can you send me a link to one of the pages where you see this issue so I can take another look for you?

I tend to think the problem lies with the Chateau theme. I changed to that theme in order to create a website look to my blog. Not happy with it. Here are a few links that demonstrate the issue:

This is a blog with informational links. Note how I added the color and underline tags in order for the links to display on the page.Here is the home page link. for Starstone Media. Look at the 10-31-2013 test entry under Company News and Announcements. In the first sentence, the link does not appear. In the second sentence, please look at the extra work I did in order for the link to appear.
Now another example without the Chateau theme. This is the home page for depot9.net. I use the Choco theme. http://depot9.net/ Upon review, you’ll notice I didn’t need to add tags to force the links to appear on the screen.
NOTE: I work on a page or post in text mode. I must review in visual and then make changes before going back to text mode. I always use the link button to add a website address. I hope you can resolve this coding issue. If not, I must change to another theme.

Hi there,
Aha, now I see what’s happening here! In the Chateau theme, you can set a custom accent color for your blog. That accent color is used for the color of the links in your theme (as well as in a few other places). Right now, you have your accent color set to white, which is why your links aren’t showing up.
You can change the accent color under Appearance > Theme Options in your dashboard. Next to Accent Color, you can use the Select a Color to choose what color you want to use for the links (and other color accents) on your blog.

My mistake. I interpreted accent color as the background color. That’s what happens when I rush a project without regard to quality control. Thank you for your assistance. Everything is right now.
