live chat not showing

    I had a live chat conversation with Aelicia from wordpress earlier today and she told me if I had more questions to simply start the chat back up again. When I logged back into my account, the chat function was no longer available.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I’m not getting emails anymore since I mapped my domain name to wordpress.

    Do you have email service set up with an email provider? I can help you add that email service to your domain here at WordPress.com.

    Alternately, we offer an Email Forwarding service you can set up if you just need email forwarding.

    Thanks for letting me know. Bluehost requires a specific, unique IP address for setting up email service. You’ll need to get that record from Bluehost so we can set up your email here at WordPress.com.

    Usually, you can find that IP address by logging in to Bluehost here:

    https://my.bluehost.com/cgi-bin/cplogin

    The IP address is usually shown in the left-hand sidebar there. If you don’t see the IP address there, or if you have trouble logging in, please contact Bluehost support directly. You can ask them for your email records with a message like this:

    Could you please provide me with the complete MX and/or other DNS records I will need to enter on WordPress.com’s end, so that my email on this domain will function?

    Once you have that information, I can help you with the steps for adding email service through another provider to get everything set up here at WordPress.com.

    Here is the chat I had with BlueHost. I did add the new A record but am still not receiving mail.

    (6:45) [Colin] You'll need to give that about 4 hours to kick in. Since DNS takes about that long to update. Then your mail should work as long as we made that correctly with their system

    (6:46) [Colin] you may need to remove that *.vikvarwoo.com if this doesn't do it. Because that * is a wildcard that assumes all possible sub names

    I just checked your domain, and it looks like the A record you added wasn’t saved correctly. Sorry about that! I just re-added that A record for you.

    As Bluehost mentioned, it can take about 4 hours for that to start working. If it’s still not working after about 4 hours, please let me know!
