  How do I go about unlocking our domain from a previous host if I have an FTP login and password?

  What’s the domain in question?

  FTP access isn’t part of the managed hosting environment we have here at WordPress.com. It sounds like you might have been set up on the other version of WordPress which is the open source software. Help for that version comes from https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
