LOCKED OUT OF ACCOUNT

    Hi

    I am completely locked out of my original wordpress site https://gillswriting.wordpress.com/

    The reason is that the 2 step verification is linked to a totally defunct Tanzanian phone.

    I must have used all my back up codes.

    PLEASE HELP

    I have spent all morning trying to find a way around this situation, I have no URL activation code form 2011 when I started the blog.

    I have no active back up codes.

    HELP

    Hi there,

    I’ve sent an email to the address associated with the account that owns that site. Please let me know if you don’t receive it.

    For what it’s worth, our system shows the account still has six unused backup codes, and you appear to have a backup phone added as well that appears to have a Spanish dialling code. If you still have access to that number you should have the option during login to request we send a code to that number instead.
