Locked out of my other account.

    I reset my password on my account ‘actenglish’/ email address (email visible only to moderators and staff) (which unlike this one insists I only use my username on log in) only to fin the new password was not valid. I have now done this countless times and every time the same message that the password is incorrect comes up. Curiously, I only receive an email with the reset option if I supply the email address but nothing happens with my username (though the email is claimed to have been sent).

    I’m at a time when access to my website is urgent so any help appreciated.

    If resetting your password via email is not working, in order to regain access to your WordPress.com account, we’ll need one of the following things:

    * A transaction ID for any upgrades purchased for the account

    * The WordPress.com account activation link, which we sent to your email address when you first registered with us.
