Locked out of myname.wordpress.com

I opened an account with WP back in July 2008. I had an old email address that got deleted/trashed by Apple. I can prove I am the owner of the web site because the only content on it has a link to a tld I own and have owned since 2008.
But WP’s recovery wants me to verify with some things I cannot possibly have access to because all the data from the Apple email account is gone.I would love to have a WP Genius contact me

If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the blog was registered, a transaction ID, or the original activation link, I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you recover the account.
