Locked out of site

  Hello,

  Suddenly I’m unable to access my site admin anymore. The site is still live.

  But the backend says I need a new password. I’ve chosen a new password dozen times now and every time it saves the new password and then tells it’s wrong when I try to log in.

  Stuck in a loop, in other words.

  How do I get back into my site?

  PS: Via the main WordPress site I am to be able to sign into what looks like an old profile of me. But there it says that I have no site. Which is obviously wrong.

  The system seemed to accept my latest password try. But instead of directing me to the Admin page it took me to the site itself.

  When I clicked my old link for the Admin page, it took me to a screen saying I don’t have sufficient privileges to access the Admin page. That I don’t have the “required read” capability to access my Dashboard.

  This is nuts.

  It’s my site. I’m entering a new password. Why won’t it let me go to my normal Admin page??

  Any help gratefully received….
