locked out of website
-
I was trying to change the copyright on my theme footer, so it said my website name. I copied instructions from the website that created my theme. And I got the following error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘&’ in /home4/stolenr1/public_html/wp-content/themes/lazy-cat-kaleidoscope/functions.php on line 17
I am not very good with computers, this was supposed to be a user friendly ‘easy change’. I need to go back to how the website looked after my last post a few hours ago. I am VERY disappointed, that I am locked out of my website. I do not understand coding, I was following instructions on the website I purchased the theme from, a website that is directly linked to wordpress.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Your site is not on WordPress.com, but is using the self-hosted WordPress.org software. We have no access to your site’s files to help with fixing it.
If this happened when inserting code according to your theme developer’s instructions, the best place for help in fixing this is to contact that developer directly. Otherwise the users in the self-hosted forums should also be able to guide you through the steps you need to follow:
