Locked out of WordPress Account
-
Hello,
I have used WordPress to set up and manage my website throughout the last year. It is now telling me my username is not registered on WordPress.org and that my email address is not found. The creator of the website states he does not have FTP or Authentication Key/URL. No code verification was set up and I’m basically locked out of my account with no way to recover it. There is no way to contact WordPress representatives and now have to write in a community forum.
Does anyone know how to have a representative help me or how to access my account again?

Hi there, any accounts with us will likely be different from the accounts you set up with your own free copy of the WordPress code. And the WordPress.org site for the free software project also has a separate login.
So just to clarify, are you using http://www.tlacc.org/wp-admin to log in?
If that isn’t working, your host may be able to help you make backups and use one of these recovery options. Several don’t require access to wp-admin or email, just your hosting tools.
If you need more help with your WordPress installation, you’ll want to be sure to use the forums for the free, DIY WordPress code instead, as these forums are primarily for our free-tier hosting.
Here’s an overview of our services vs the DIY software, but in short, we provide hosting, maintenance, security, support, and spam filtering, as well as real-time backups depending on the plan you use. Basically we have your back in the way that free code alone cannot. If you’re interested in moving your site here, let us know your goals with your site and any questions you have. We can confirm the best plan for your case and recommend your next steps.
Cheers!
