  I want to comment on another WP site but cannot log in. Has my account been deleted/inactivated?

  https://fictioncanbefun.wordpress.com/ is the site I wanted to comment on.

  I have now been able to do that from my own site, but not when hitting the reply button on theirs. So I’m puzzled!

  Thanks for the link. You shouldn’t have any issues commenting on that site. Could you describe what exactly happens when you’re trying to comment? Do you see the black WordPress.com bar at the top of the page when trying to do so, are you being asked to log in constantly? The more you can tell us, the better we can advise. Thanks!

  What happened yesterday was that I pressed ‘Leave a reply@ wrote the reply then clicked on the WordPress logo to sign in and send. This is what I normally do and normally it works. Up comes the login options and I log in with my WP account, post gets sent.

  Yesterday the sign in block appeared and vanished instantly. Eventually I got a box which said effectively (I can’t recall the exact wording) that there was no such account or the account was closed.

  Today there is no problem!

  That’s a weird issue. Let’s hope that it was due to a cache or connection issue.
