Log in to my account through jetpack

    I am trying to link my website to jetpack, I have a domain hosted by GoDaddy and log in through this to access my wordpress admin. When I have tried to log into jetpack it takes me to a log in page – I have tried to enter my current wordpress log in, but it says its invalid.
    I have even changed my password on my admin account so I know its definitely right. I do have a wordpress account from an old blog which I deleted and its trying to log me in on this account.
    I need to know if I connect to this will it affect my current website? as the user name is different (it says my wordpress username is already in use – which I presume is byt me, but then my password doesnt match??)
    Hoping someone can help me this this as I really want to get it installed, but its making no sense to me and I don’t want to do any damage to my already set up website.

    Hi @thedistancekeepscalling1, if it helps, you have a login for WordPress.com account, and a separate login for your individual WordPress.org installation.

    Can you try the other login?
