Logging In and Comment Issues

    Hi everybody,
    I have been having a problem, not with a blog linked to my current user name (seanmackin) but instead linked to my hosted site – http://www.thehumanrightsproject.org.uk. My problem is two fold – linked to each other.

    I want to comment on other peoples blogs, however I dont have the link or ability to do so from the dashboard of my hosted WordPress. When I try to ‘search’, it gives me a search within my own site. If I type the URL of another blog in to my bar, it essentially logs me out of WordPress. So I dont know why, but I can’t comment from that blog in the same way I can from my ‘other’ WordPress blogs.

    When I then try to login using my user name and password to ask for help on WordPress.org, it tells me my username and password dont exist – even though I changed them in my dashboard.

    I’m hopelessly confused – any help would be fab!

    Hi. If you are asking about a self-hosted WordPress blog, you are in the wrong forum. Please ask your question at http://wordpress.org/support
    If needed, create a new username and password.
