Login, Admin, Passwords etc

    Hello, As far as I know I am currently the only person with access to this wordpress site: http://icedistrictadvertising.com/. http://icedistrictadvertising.com/launch-admin/
    I recently, updated my login info. and saved all info. Rebooked, cleared cache etc and login in to ensure it’s working. I was able to successfully. Then I closed and reopened the site and states my password is incorrect. I select, ‘forgot password’ and enter my email ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) and states am email has been sent. Its now been 15min. How can I regain access to my account username (iced_admin) and ensure no one else has access to it now and in the future?

    Hi @sarahburt1, this is a self-hosted copy of WordPress through GoDaddy. It’s quite different from a site that is on our servers.

    And since your site is not here on our servers, we don’t have access to help you regain access. But I may be able to point you in the right direction.

    First contact GoDaddy to be sure you have backups and can access the hosting side of your site, then read all of these these instructions from WordPress.org to determine which method you want to use to regain access to your installation:

    As long as you can log into GoDaddy, you should be able to regain access. If you need more help, head to to the forums for self-hosted sites at https://wordpress.org/support
