Login Failure on iPhone iOS 16.4.1 (a)

I can login to my WordPress account to post a comment on my site fine on my PC (Windows 11 – Edge, latest versions). However when attempting to login on my iPhone (iOS 16.4.1 (a)), login fails without error, warning or notification. I click on a ‘Log in to Reply’ link under one of the existing comments to reply, I am redirected to WordPress.com, I enter my credentials and it appears to accept them (I double checked and confirmed they are correct), but on the redirect back to the site/page I originated from I wind up back at the top of the page, and all of the ‘Log in to Reply’ links still exist – so I know I am in fact still not logged in. I can reproduce this behavior repeatedly with no solution.
It does not matter which browser on the iPhone I use (Chrome, Safari, Edge). 100% confirmed that all/each have their caches fully cleared, and there are no saved passwords/credientials anywhere (not in browsers, not in iPhone Password, not in iCloud, etc.). I have had several other uses trying to log into my site experience the same issue but chalked it up to cache issues. But now I can confirm this is not the case. Again – no issues logging in from PC using same process and credentials. Please advise on how to possibly resolve this issue. Thank you.

Also, did you have this issue prior to applying the iOS 16.4.1 update? Or has this been an issue on earlier versions of iOS as well?
