Login failures

  I have lost my password to my web site. I have asked WP to send me a new one and, although they say a new password has been sent nothing ever shows up and I am unable to finish building my site. Is there a human anywhere at WP that I can ask for help? Thank you, Jim

  Hi Jim,

  What is the URL of the site you’re trying to access? On WordPress.com passwords are linked to a username account, not to individual sites.

  If you’re building a site using the open source WordPress software at another host, we cannot help with this. The password for such a site has no connection to your WordPress.com account, but is stored in your site’s database on your hosting provider’s servers. We don’t have any access there to help you reset it.
