login page does not recognize my username
-
Your log-in page:
https://wordpress.com/log-in?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.com%2Fstart%2Fdomains&email_address=edspring
says that my username ‘e_d_sprinG’ does not exist, and would I like to create that account.I click that link.
the next page:
https://wordpress.com/start/user
In the textbox ‘choose a user name’, I type ‘e_d_sprinG’
The page changes my username to ‘edspring’ and displays an error message below it stating that the username already exists, and a link to log in now. Now, either e_d_sprinG exists or it does not exist.
Since I created the account a few years ago, i tend to think it exists…I wonder which it is?

Hi there,
I do not see any sites under your @e03d16s1953 WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.
Is it possible you created your site under a different login? Is it the case that you are using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?
Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.
