Login problems

I have spent over 3 hours trying to make sense of my WordPress accounts user names and passwords. YOUR PROCESS IS TRASH!
I’ve been blocked on most of my sites with a ‘wrong password’ error. When I put my user names – 8 of them that I have on file – into your ‘lost password’ applications, I don’t get any emails from them to reset the passwords. For each password I have, I’ve tried to log in to all the accounts that go with them and get rejections. So, I tried to open new accounts with the old names. Every time, they were rejected.
I’ve now found ONE stable set of user name and pw that gets me into all the accounts that are active and that I know of.
So:
DON’T MAKE ANY CHANGES! Leave eaglenanook@ the way it is.
This wordpress disaster has been going on for years!

Wordpress.com doesn’t change account settings, only the owner is able to do so.
As you are saying all your accounts and passwords are very confusing, it’s perhaps better to move all your wordpress.com sites under just 1 account, https://wordpress.com/support/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
