login trouble
-
OK, I set up two step authorization because I thought I would be nice….it’s a pain, I want to eliminate it….your system won’t allow me to! Also, I have had nothing but issues just trying to log into my account – to work on my website! Every time I attempt to login, I’m inputting the wrong password?????? I just changed it from this site, did the verification thing, and I still can’t login COME ON!!!!!!! I don’t know what else to say, I’m just sick of this! I hate that I purchased the damn site, which I can NEVER log in to . . . Ugh! I don’t wanna ask forums, I need help, not suggestions, WP can do better than this, or give me my money back! I’m sick of buying crap that won’t function right, and then you can’t even get the satisfaction of speaking to someone. When you talk to me about internet regulations – this is the crap I want to talk about!!!!!!!

We have absolutely no history of purchases, transactions, or billing activity of any kind under the account you’re currently logged into.
What is the URL of the site you’re trying to log in to?

Amazing!
I’m so sure you’re right!I have a WP account, my user name is : thepublishingdivision
I also just purchased a WP site, I know that because I always have to enter my WP login info to access the sitebuilder, et al. I haven’t launched it yet, as I cannot finish it!the URL is http://www.gracemultimediacompanies.com
All I want to know is why can I not login without having to change the password, and why is it happening??????
It’s not my imagination…I do have such a site, it is one of yours, and I’m only having a problem with entering my wordpress login info?????!!!!!

Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with iPage.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
https://wordpress.org/support/ is a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
And, they do have some options for you at https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/
Your hosting provider’s support team may also be able to assist.
