  I am attached to an account and my username and password have never worked. It says it cant find it. Can you please help?

  We have a guy named Daniel Patterson also having a login and he’s okay getting in. Its always been an issue for me logging in this way.

  Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddyr.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.   What about the other guy I created a username and password for? He’s able to login through WordPress, not GoDaddy.

  That is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we really can’t help with here.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
