looking for a secure and effective way to share information

  I want to set up an online directory for our church. I use google for my contact manager and would like to be able to put that information in a place where others can access it. But, I’d like it to be password protected in order to gain access. would wordpress be suitable?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  If you’d like, you can certainly create a post or a page that is password protected. Then, only visitors with that password will be able to view the content on that post or page.

  We have a guide with details about how to password protect a post, and you can use the same steps to password protect a page. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

  thank you for the reply. I saw it the other day but have not had time to get back to it. I’ll try to do what I need…if I run into trouble I’ll let you know.
