Looking for Help/Service

Hi all,
So I am new to web development and it has been a hobby of mine. Now I know enough to be dangerous and break stuff lol
Seriously though I am looking to find someone or a service that can go to my site and make sure things are correct. Like settings and security and other things depending. I guess I am looking for more of an advisor. I might not be saying exactly what it is that I am in need of but I hope you get my general need. I already have the WP chat thing that is like $50 month. This service sounds like something I would need except they only work with screenshots and I might need someone to dig around and help with things that I don’t know are wrong.

It sounds like you are using the open source WordPress software. Sites built with that software are installed on your hosting provider’s servers, so only your hosting provider, and people you specifically give access, can access the dashboard.
Most hosting providers do not provide support for the WordPress software, so they will not log in and check things for you. I’d also be very careful of third party “WordPress support” services, as many of those are scammy, and none of them have any official affiliation with the open source WordPress project or with us at WordPress.com.
The only official place to find support for your version of WordPress is the support forums on WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/. That support is provided by members of the WordPress community, and they will also not log into your site to help.
If you would like to pay a developer to help with your site, I suggest you look at a directory like https://jetpack.pro/ to find someone who will suit your needs.
