Looking for upgrade my site

  What will happen to my site gupta9665.wordpress.com once I upgrade by getting the Pro bundle. What I read is that for the $99 bundle, I can change it to gupta9665.com and all the traffic to gupta9665.wordpress.com to will be routed to gupta9665..com but I’m unclear on this. Also what will happen to old pages url, for e.g. http://gupta9665.wordpress.com/posts-links/

  Yes, all the traffic that tries to go to your current URL will go to your new one. They work seamlessly together. All the old links will work, too. Basically, every page and post on your site has two addresses now: the wordpress.com one and the custom one.
