  I want to put a directory or database on my site – how do I find this on my wordpress.com site?

  With my partner, we are looking listing hotels, pubs and restaurants we eat it at, supply to and one’s we talk to.

  Thus we want we want to list them, then allow people to sort or filter them. We were told this could be done on a wordpress.com site but can’t find a template or feature.

  Can anyone help?

  That’s not possible on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. You will need to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up a WordPress.org install. http://wordpress.org/
