Looking to reset my site and import a new theme

    I have tried everything to import my brooklyn theme from theme forest, I am launching my website in a week and decided to change the entire theme last min. I have removed everything manually and tried importing my theme again. the theme does get imported but most of the data does not show. If any staff can help me that would be great. I am hosted on wordpress.com

    While we can help with your general WordPress questions, we are not familiar with 3rd party themes “designed for WordPress” as they were created by an outside company that we are not connected to.

    Generally speaking, the demo content is not added automatically but must be set up in a separate step when installing a new theme. Usually, this involves “importing” the demo content, but the process can vary depending on the theme you are using and how the theme developers defined the setup process.

    Your Theme Forest theme should include some kind of setup instructions, so it will likely explain the process if you can locate those.
