Looking to Transfer Website to WordPress.com

The non-profit I work for is currently hosted with another site I’d like to look at pricing and options for transferring the entire site over to WordPress to be hosted. Would we be able to transfer the domain, content, and email addresses over?

Hi there,
You’ll be able to transfer everything to us, yes, with one caveat – we don’t provide email hosting, so while you can add all DNS records requires for your email to work to your domain once it’s with us, you’ll need to keep using your current email provider to host the email itself.

Note that we don’t automatically update your domain’s name servers when we transfer the domain. To ensure there’s no interruption in your email service I’d recommend mapping the domain here first, and adding the MX and other DNS records required for your email to your domain’s DNS on our end. Then update the name servers at your registrar to point the domain to us before you start the transfer process. Once you initiate a transfer you wont’ be able to change anything regarding the domain until the transfer completes.
