Looking up wordpress account name / email from host files

    I recently started working at a company where they would like their webpage to be updated. Unfortuantely, I only have the hosting information and the files that are associated with the FTP manager. The webpage loads and is running, but no one knows the wordpress account that it is linked to. The one they thought it was is not the the right one.

    Keep in mind this is for the website, http://adventcapitalpartners.com not my personal WordPress Account that I am writing this from. Their companies has a lot of email addresses, and I have tried entering a few into WordPress to see if they could recover the username/password without any luck.

    They use a theme purchased from ProPhotoBlogs.com and I do have all the coding files there. Is there a way that I can look up the username or email through the coding files? Or even the MySQL files?

    Kind of desperate for some ideas here, as nothing seems to be working! lol

    If you have FTP and a couple of other indicators means:

    Yes you can fix it but if you have your own hosting you will need to use FTP which we can’t do here – the folks at WordPress.ORG see one of your problems a day at least.

    The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

    Thanks for your response. I was unaware that there was a wordpress.COM and a wordpress.ORG Your links were very helpful and I read through all of them. I have also posted this same question in the wordpress.org forum to see if they can hep me out over there as well.

    Though I am still not sure if the ProPhotoBlog platform is run through wordpress.com or the .org. On their tutorials, it seems to show everything running through wordpress.com and editing the information under the custom appearance tabs. It looks like a couple fo new links are added for the editing process of ProPhotoBlog.

    If I am right in my thinking, I need to know the wordpress.com log-in information as well. Is it possible to look it up from where the site is hosted?
